The Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development, together with Dr. Zakeri, CEO of the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways, visited the project to replace the rails with long-gauge rails; a project that is being implemented for the first time in the country and is considered an important step in the development and modernization of railway infrastructure.
During this visit, the latest implementation process of the project, the advantages and technical achievements of this new method were examined. Implementing the long-rail method of replacing rails will play an effective role in increasing safety, improving the quality of train travel and movement, and reducing the maintenance costs of the country’s rail network.
